This past Friday,September 11th, from 4–6 PM, we had a wonderful Meet & Greet Cookout on our back patio as we welcomed our new Administrator, Linda “Lynn” Carter, to the Glenville Health and Rehabilitation family!
Staff and residents gathered together for a casual afternoon of hot dogs, chili sauce, chips, conversation, and plenty of mingling.
Thank you, Lynn, for making yourself available and for bringing leadership skills rooted in listening, observing, and getting to know both our staff and residents with an open mind and caring heart. We are excited to see all that the future holds!

This past Saturday evening, so many amazing volunteers came out to help Glenville Health and Rehabilitation complete another successful Annual Disaster Drill. Their time, dedication, teamwork, and willingness to help made all the difference!
We truly appreciate each and every person who took time out of their evening to participate and help us prepare to keep our residents and staff safe. Your support means so much to us!

We want to make our Gilmer County community aware that this Saturday, September 12th at 6:00 PM, we will be conducting our Annual Disaster Drill.
We know how involved and supportive our community is, and we truly appreciate the way Gilmer County comes together to support one another. Because of that, we want to give everyone a heads-up so there is no cause for concern.
During the drill, you may hear emergency calls over the scanner and/or sirens. Please know that this is only a planned exercise and there is no actual emergency taking place.
Please do not be alarmed! This drill is an important part of making sure our staff and community partners are prepared to respond safely and effectively should a real emergency ever occur.

Our Dietary Manager, Kelly Radcliff, whipped up a scrumptious and extra-special treat for everyone today.
She made a delicious Butterfinger Cake and it looks absolutely irresistible!
Thank you, Kelly, for always adding a little sweetness to our day! We appreciate all the love and care you put into making special treats for our residents and staff.
